About Us
Our library is for the Amigos School and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School. Our collection includes materials in English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
Ms. Sarah Novogrodsky is the full-time librarian. She was a classroom teacher in the Cambridge Public Schools for ten years before getting her masters in library science at Simmons College. Her love of libraries began at an early age with weekly visits to her local library in Vermont.
On this blog she will tell you about new books in the library, special events held in collaboration with the library and share any interesting literacy tidbits that she encounters.
Miss Melissa Brumsted is the Library Assistant and is in her final semester of graduate school at Simmons College. She came to Boston to become a school librarian after working as a Youth Services Assistant at the Teton County Library in Jackson, Wyoming for three years.
